Damien brings seventeen years of real estate experience to Cadence Realty. Originally from Virginia, Damien attended Hampden-Sydney College and then found his way to Wilmington, NC where he enrolled in UNCW’s Cameron School of Business. While earning his MBA, he fell in love with Southeast North Carolina’s coastal communities, rich history, and southern charm.
Since 2004, Damien has effectively and methodically made a name for himself here in Wilmington’s real estate market. He initially came onto the scene through his work in residential construction and development. His additional 8 years of experience working on a variety of projects gives him some unique insight to provide to his clients – marketing, land evaluation, government regulation, new construction, historic revitalization, and remodels. Damien takes pride in staying on top of the issues and developments that affect the growth of the local coastal community. Currently, he is the Chair of the Government Affairs Committee at the Cape Fear Realtor Association and serves on the Pender County Planning Board. He is well versed in understanding how the growing medical community in the Cape Fear region is affecting the local real estate market. It’s his understanding of the community, anchored with a strong real estate background that makes Damien a trusted advocate for his clients. As part of Cadence Realty, Damien truly enjoys engaging new and repeat clients, working closely with builders, and being a voice in the real estate community.
Outside of real estate, Damien enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Ashley, and her three boys. They take advantage of Southeast North Carolina’s coastline and culture– the seafood, historic festivals, as well as the abundant activities to enjoy the surround nature, wildlife, and climate.
